In this video tutorial I will show you how I saved my PS2 Slim with a dead DVD drive. I watched a few great videos from Macho Nacho about how to use a Raspberry Pi to play backups, I also saw a video he created where they created a PS2 Mini. I combined these two ideas to 3D print a new Top Case for my PS2 Slim to hold the Raspberry Pi in place of the DVD drive.

This tutorial walks you through the entire process in 5 parts.

Part 1. Set up the Pi
Part 2. Set up the Thumb Drive with Backups
Part 3. 3D Print and Assembly
Part 4. Set up FreeMCBoot (FMCB)
Part 5. Set up Open PS2 Loader (OPL)

// INSPIRATION

The main inspiration for this project was MachoNacho his videos showing me how to load PS2 Backups from a Raspberry Pi and his video where he worked in collaboration with Wesk to create a PS2 Mini with a 3D printed case inspired me to combine the ideas of the Pi project with a 3D printed case...

Thank you to @MachoNachoProductions for inspiring this project!
