How To Change Discord Call Sound Mobile !
Changing the default call sound on the Discord mobile app isn't as direct as switching a ringtone for your phone calls. Discord doesn’t currently have a built-in setting to directly change the call sound from within the app itself. However, depending on your device, you can adjust notification sounds through your phone’s system settings. This video walks you through the step-by-step process to access and modify Discord's call sound notification by leveraging Android system-level notification settings.
First, you’ll need to open the Discord app and make sure you're logged in. Once you’re on the home screen, navigate to your user settings by tapping the profile icon located at the bottom-right corner of the app. From there, scroll down to the 'App Settings' section and tap on 'Notifications.' Inside this menu, you’ll see an option labeled 'System Notifications.' Tapping on it will lead you to the device-level notification controls for Discord.
Enable the toggle for allowing notifications outside of Discord. Once enabled, you can then tap 'See all' to view specific notification types. Look for 'Incoming Calls' and tap on it to bring up more settings. In this menu, you’ll see an option to customize the sound. Select this, and you’ll be able to choose from your device’s available notification tones or add your own custom sound file, depending on your phone’s capabilities.
Please note, this method works on Android devices where Discord call notifications are managed by the Android system. On iOS, changing the call notification sound for Discord isn’t currently supported due to system restrictions.
