There are a lot of OBS tutorial channels out there but most of them deal with OBS on Windows. I am going to show you how well OBS does on Linux and the many plugins that work in OBS. There are also a few that will not. I will help you navigate though them. I will also talk about streaming and the tools I use that work for me.
I use Pop OS, which is an Ubuntu based Linux distro. I use the official PPA for OBS but will show you the options for the OBS Flatpak and Snap versions. What you learn about the Flatpak and Snap versions you can apply to the distro of your choice.
The OBS team has done a great job in keeping up OBS for Linux. Many of the plugin creators have also been adding Linux to their Windows and Mac plugins. Though there are many more options for add ons in Windows, Linux is a very capable platform to use OBS on to stream.
