I built a DIY marble maze using a 6mm plywood board and 10x3 mm spruce slats. Everything was cut by hand using a Douzuki saw, and I glued the slats onto the board with Titebond Original wood glue.

The board measures 320x240mm, and I designed the maze to fit a 16mm marble, leaving 18mm spacing between the slats for smooth movement. I used a maze layout from a drawing and calculated all the distances with the calculator on my phone.

Tools used:

Shinwa Pick-Up ruler

Tape measure

320-grit sandpaper

No power tools, no fancy machines — just simple hand tools and a bit of patience.
If you enjoy woodworking, puzzles, or satisfying builds, I hope you’ll enjoy watching this one come together!
