Uncover slow database queries with p50, p95, and p99
Percentile metrics show how fast your queries actually run for real users. p50 is the median, p95 means 95% of queries finish faster than this time, p99 catches the slowest 1%. Focusing on p95 or p99 reveals the performance outliers that tank user experience, not just the happy path averages hide.
