Sonic 1 Glitchless Beginner's Guide [ All Versions ]
A beginner's guide to running Sonic 1 as fast as possible without glitches. The tips in this video are universally applicable to all versions of the original Sonic the Hedgehog, old and new.
My current fastest run is 29 minutes 11 seconds in RTA (with drop-dash / spin dash enabled in the SEGA Ages release). With these tips, you should be able to get to sub or near sub-30 minute runs as well.
