Beat City is actually Rhythm Hell...
Beat City for the Nintendo DS released just one year following the North American release of Rhythm Heaven. Coincidence? I think not... This was clearly a game meant to capitalize on the rhythm genre surge of the late 2000's and tried to replicate the Rhythm Heaven formula with very mixed results. Personally this might be one of the most uninspired rhythm games I have played yet, but I'm curious to know if you ever played it!
Sorry for the lack of uploads lately, I've been more focused on short-form content on TikTok lately but definitely expect more videos soon.
