Visiting Montjuïc is an awesome experience. This hill offers some of the best views of Barcelona, with the city stretching out beneath you and the Mediterranean Sea glistening in the distance. I love wandering around the area, checking out the historic Montjuïc Castle, which has an interesting history and great vantage points. The Magic Fountain is another highlight, especially when it puts on its evening light and music show. The area is also home to lush gardens, the impressive National Art Museum of Catalonia, and even an Olympic stadium. Whether I'm exploring the cultural sites or just enjoying the natural beauty, Montjuïc has a bit of everything.
