MPEG2-TS ➪ XviD/AC3 AVI with VDub & Avidemux : VDub #7
In this tutorial I show you how to convert an MPEG2-TS (transmission stream) file into an AVI which can be edited using Virtual Dub. In the end our goal here is to create the best possible AVI representation of the MPEG2-TS stream. So in the end we want to retain the original audio (AC-3 in this case) when putting the "final cut" back together.
