Welcome to my channel! In this video, I’m excited to showcase my newly completed 3D printer, based on the Voron Trident design. This custom-built printer uses belts instead of screws for the Z-axis movement and features two independent extruder heads, making it an IDEX (Independent Dual Extruder) printer.
In this video, you’ll see:
Primary Mode: Each head operates independently, allowing for dual-material or dual-color prints.
Copy Mode: Objects positioned on the left half in the slicer are duplicated on the right half, doubling your print output.
Mirror Mode: Similar to copy mode, but with mirrored duplicates, perfect for printing symmetrical parts.
I’ll walk you through each mode, demonstrating the capabilities and advantages of this versatile 3D printer. Whether you’re a seasoned 3D printing enthusiast or just starting out, this video will give you insights into how an IDEX printer can enhance your printing projects.
