Mr Fabulous Behind The Glitter Ball Princes Trust Ambassador, Pride of Britain Award Winner and newly appointed Pink Ribbon Foundation ‘Charity Ambassador’ Jay Kamiraz directs and stars in his first film, written during lockdown, carefully charting his compelling first hand experience of Hate Crime, Coming Out, Mental Health Awareness, Sexual Identity and dealing with peoples perceived assumptions and attitudes towards him. This film is nothing but honest, immensely moving and empowering showcasing the story and exceptional life of Jay Kamiraz, aka Mr Fabulous, a man whose life journey can only be described as triumphant He has moved and inspired many all over the world, gaining him the respect and admiration of those who meet him, from private individuals to royalty. The documentary features Hollywood Star, James Bond legend Pearce Brosnan, who filmed a personal message to Jay Kamiraz. Mr Fabulous tells the story of one man’s battles overcoming a horrific homophobic attack, sexual prejudice, racial stigma, and inequality. It charts his rise to fame and the evolution of his calling as a positive role model, using his platform as a British South Asian, Gay, Queer, Androgynous man to create and campaign for visibility and be a voice of empowerment channelled via his public persona ‘Mr Fabulous’. We get to experience beautiful narratives influenced by fashion, with spectacular scenes wearing dark, emotive, androgynous exquisite statement pieces all styled to provide drama. Jay plans to find funding to commission the project into a full-length film or series. His inspirational film is heartfelt and personal story to watch and has the support of the Princes Trust, HRH the Prince of Wales, Hollywood Star Pearce Brosnan, Clarence House who are immensely proud of Jays achievements. The films ending credits includes a song written and provided by Randy Jones (Original member from iconic American disco group Village People)
