How To Animate A Bat Flying (Read the Description...)
***NOTE: There is an error in this video. I used it to show you you can animate will a white BG it the drawing ITSELF IS NOT WHITE. Also, do NOT have white eyes if your keeping the BG white for all the frames. To make life EASY, simple use a BRIGHT BLUE BG.

Okay, so this is my best, or at least one out of two how to animate videos! Okay, this can be used for dragons flying, or bats, or birds, whatever.
Okay, I MADE THE FRAMES MYSELF DO NOT TRACE, SCREEN CAPTURE, OR PRINT SCREEN THESE PHOTOS!!!!! I made them, therefore, they is mine.

Programs Needed To Animate:
-Windows Movie Maker
-MS Paint, Photoshop
-Vegas 4.0 / Vegas Pro / Vegas 9 (Only if you want BGs)

Anyway, this is how is goes.
1. Draw you first frame, the bat with it's wings the highest. DRAW IN BLACK.
Frame 1: 0:01
2. Now you have your frame. Do 'SAVE AS', not 'SAVE' for ALL COMPLETED FRAMES. If you do 'SAVE' every time, you'll have 1 frame. Okay, so save that as whatever (ex. dragon 1, fly 1).
Frame 2: 0:22
TIP: When you save it, I recomend saving it as a BMP / Bitmap file, since that's the easiest way to go. Or, as recommended as a comment, save it as a PNG, too. (I guess it saves space!)
3. Now, click on the bucket tool, and select 'red' as your fill color. Dump (lol) everything that is BLACK to RED. Start your second frame, IN BLACK.
TIP: When your done drawing in BLACK, if you want to erase everything that's RED fast, select RED as your color, and the ERASER as your TOOL, then hold down your RIGHT CLICK on your mouse, and move it around in the red spots. Now, you have only your black.
4. Repeat step 1 with doing 'SAVE AS' again, and save it as Dragon 2, or whatever!!!!!
5. Now do frames 3, 4, and 5.
Frame 3: 0:47
Frame 4: 1:09
Frame 5: 1:34
TIP: Make each BG of the frames BRIGHT BLUE! DO NOT ANIMATE WITH A WHITE FIGURE AND WHITE BG. THIS CAN LEAD TO PROBLEMS, AS SHOWN AS A MISTAKE IN THIS TUTORIAL!!!!!!

*Now for the Movie Maker Part!
6. Okay, so drag all your frames into WMM, (Windows Movie Maker).
7. Now, you see the magnifying glass button with the little plus sign? Click that as many times as possible, then drag your frames into the time line.
8. Go to the end of the frame, and a red arrow will appear. Hold that down and drag it to the left. Repeat.
TIP: You MUST put them in this frame order, 1,2,3,4,5; then 4,3,2, because then if you don't add those last 3 frames, then you won't have the wings in a complete flapping style.
9. When you have all the frames to the smallest length possible, highlight them, then right click, copy them, and paste them as many times as you like.
(EXTRA TIP): Okay, save your movie. You notice it is slow, yes? Well, open a new WMM window, then drag your newly saved cycle into it, and drag it into the time line, right click, and go to 'video effects' or whatever its called, and go to 'speed up' and add it. Now its faster! Just save it as a movie again.

Vegas Part!
10. Okay, drag your video into the FIRST PLACE. The one you drag should be the one with blue BG you made. Now, if you drag your MOVING BG under the first, you must notice it has a 'white bar' under the first video. Yes, that's okay. That's if you have audio, which we don't. Anyway, go to 'VIDEO FX' and fins 'Chroma Keyer'. You can do BLUE SCREEN, or PURE BLUE SCREEN. I do PURE BLUE, because it looks nicer. Drag it to your first video. Now, the BG it inserted! YEAH!!!!!!!
