Improve Your Throttle Response. If you’re looking to improve the throttle response for your 2011–2017 Ford GT and EcoBoost Mustang, the JMS PedalMAX system is a great start. The factory drive by wire system results in a delay as the pedal movement is transferred digitally to the Mustang’s throttle management system, which in turns opens the throttle body, causing a delay in overall throttle response. The JMS PedalMAX system eliminates the pedal lag, improves overall acceleration, slightly increases low to mid-range performance and helps eliminate the stalling of manual transmission equipped Mustangs.
Simple Construction. The system comes in a small plastic sealed enclosure and connects to the factory pedal position sensor with a high quality wiring harness, using standard factory connectors.
Plug and Play Installation. The installation is straightforward and a true plug and play, eliminating the need to cut or alter the factory wiring. The unit basically just plugs in between the factory pedal and sensor. If the programmed mapping is too aggressive, you can connect the provided 4-pin red connector to desensitize the system by 40-percent. This will still provide a noticeable improvement over the factory programming, but minimize the reaction if you feel the system is too touchy. It’s important to note that the system is also stackable with other common aftermarket ODBII programmers for future modification. The installation is straightforward and should take less than half an hour.
