One caveat remains. The bike computer displays the speed of movement, but it actually measures the rotational speed of the wheel, i.e., angular velocity. Therefore, the location of the sensor and the magnet on the spoke does not affect the measurement error. It is important that the gap between these elements is sufficiently small. Plus, for greater accuracy, you can measure the tire length yourself with a tape measure. For the more pedantic, you can also make an allowance for tire deflection. Good luck!
