Most of my music is sad like Adelle because it helps me cope. I never really wrote happy songs, so "Doing My Thang" means the world to me. I wrote this song when I reached a point in my life where I feel like a changed for the better, and became a more positive person.
I've struggled with finding myself and social anxieties, even coping with self harm. I think one of the most important things to hold on to is to just be yourself. Make funny faces, dance, tell stupid jokes, do whatever makes you feel alive!
I hope you can attach yourself to the message that I hope to spread with this song!
