How to setup and use Node Red in HassIO (Home Assistant)
Home Assistant (HassIO) and Node Red tutorial for home automation logic!
Home Assistant makes connecting devices around the home easy...but then the logic of controlling those devices can be a bit tricky. This video is a short tutorial to get up and running, and then starting your first flows. It assumes no knowlege of Node-Red and so I go over some of the basic names, show basic nodes (that's taken directly from the node-red tutorial) and then show how to detect if device states and how to control other devices based on those states.
