Can Dündar: RESISTANCE WILL SPOIL THIS GAME!
Today is the day the already crippled democratic regime in Turkey was brought to its knees… We witnessed the AKP police raiding the CHP like an occupying force, but the CHP resisting the occupation and returning to its founding principles. Erdoğan, with meticulously timed precision, devised a very insidious game plan; it's clear… On the first day of the holiday when people took to the roads, immediately after receiving legitimacy approval from the US President via a tweet, and at the same time he sent the DEM delegation to İmralı, he pressed the button and activated his long-prepared plan to shut down the CHP. To conquer the fortress from within, he used Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, the "Trojan Horse" waiting impatiently in the wings. Kılıçdaroğlu, whose ambition outweighs his competence, saw no problem in orchestrating a raid on his former party with mafia-police cooperation. Whatever he does from now on, he will not be able to escape the heavy mark he has inscribed on his forehead with his own hands. The next step is clearly approaching: it seems that the final move in this dangerous plan, which began with the takeover of the CHP, will be the arrest of Özgür Özel… Preparations are underway in that direction… But these moves could also create unity rather than disintegration within the party. With this awareness, Özgür Özel tore up the surrender document and decided to lead his party back to its birthplace, Parliament, and direct the resistance from there. Erdoğan has watched the chaos created by his insidious plan with pleasure in his Palace. So has Kılıçdaroğlu… Unfortunately, the other political parties, which are indispensable elements of multi-party life, are also watching from afar as multi-party life is being abandoned… Why weren't they on Özgür Özel's side today, how can they not see that they will be next after the CHP, when will they come together to form a common front against the Palace and defend democracy; we have the right to ask this. The "last bastion" has fallen with the cooperation of the Palace's police and Kılıçdaroğlu's thugs. However, the resistance has spilled from the bastion into the streets. The resistance in the streets will determine the fate not just of one party, but of a country.
