"The Fine Joys of Tobacco" is a key story mission in Chapter 3 (Clemens Point) of RDR2, initiated by Hosea Matthews at Braithwaite Manor, Lemoyne. This mission follows “Advertising, the New American Art” and leads into “Blessed are the Peacemakers.”

Head to Caliga Hall
Meet Hosea and Catherine Braithwaite. You and Sean MacGuire will drive a wagon loaded with moonshine toward Caliga Hall to sabotage the Gray's tobacco operation.

Sneak in via deception
Hide in the rear of the wagon when Sean distracts a guard, Hamish Gray, offering him free liquor. Once inside, quietly get out and stealth-kill the guard from behind, then hide his body inside the wagon.

Douse the tobacco fields with moonshine
After Sean disposes of another guard, the timer starts. There are seven yellow-marked areas in the fields you must soak in moonshine within 2 minutes 20 seconds for the Gold Medal. Stay crouched, watch guard patrols, and move continuously while pouring.

Burn the barn and fields
Meet Sean back at the barn; he’ll douse it and take out the guard inside. Then you toss a fire bottle to set the barn alight, followed by using fire bottles to ignite the fields.

Escape and kill Grays during the getaway
As chaos erupts, stay close to Sean and use Dead Eye to bag five kills during your escape on horseback. You must avoid using any health items throughout.

You escape on horses (Sean takes the prized ones attached to a payroll wagon). Completing the mission grants $233.75 and Fire Bottles for your inventory.

To earn the prestigious Gold Medal:
