Encryptomatic is the developer of two products that can create PDF files from Outlook e-Mail.
This video is focused on MessageExport, an add-in for Outlook.
The other product, called PstViewer Pro, is a Windows desktop application that functions independently from Outlook. PstViewer Pro does not require Outlook to be present, and performs nearly identical email-to-PDF export operations as MessageExport. The MessageExport add-in is part of the Outlook toolbar. Besides exporting Outlook email to PDF, it also adds the ability to save email as Txt, Html, Mbox, Csv, and other formats. The process you learn today about exporting email to PDF can also be used to export email to any of the supported formats.
Let's learn how MessageExport works by converting some Outlook email into PDF files.
The first step is always to select the email that we want to export from Outlook's mail list.
We can also select entire Outlook folders to export. Even their subfolders can be selected, and the Outlook folder structure can be preserved as PDF files are written to the Windows file system.
As you'll see as we go along, MessageExport offers you many powerful options that you won't find in other software products.
Ok, so our emails have been selected. Let's choose among the PDF export profiles in the MessageExport toolbar.
It's helpful to note that Export Profiles can be edited, deleted, or created. They are an important part of MessageExport, and give you tremendous flexibility to create export operations that will save you time and effort.
MessageExport supports multiple methods of exporting email to PDF.
