James
James' book is filled with great advice for Christians. Chapter 1, verse 5 tells us that wisdom is something we can ask God for. This is great advice! This is such a great advice! If we humble ourselves and ask God for wisdom, He will give it to us. All we have to do is ask God for wisdom and listen to His answers. This is James's advice. When you are lacking wisdom, I encourage you to seek God's help. It will amaze you how He provides what you need.

The Bible has a lot to say about wisdom. In Proverbs, we are told that wisdom is more precious than jewels and that it is more durable than silver or gold (Proverbs 8:10-11). We are also told that wisdom is better than weapons of war (Ecclesiastes 9:18). The book of James tells us that if we lack wisdom, we should ask God for it, and he will give it generously (James 1:5). And in the book of Colossians, we are told that Christ is the embodiment of wisdom (Colossians 2:3).
So what exactly is wisdom? The dictionary defines it as “the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgment; the quality of being wise.” But the Bible goes beyond this definition. In Proverbs, we see that wisdom is not just about having knowledge; it is also about having discretion and understanding (Proverbs 1:4). And in James, we see that wisdom is not just about having good judgment; it is also about having humility (James 3:13). So perhaps a better definition of wisdom would be “the quality of having experience, knowledge, discretion, understanding, and humility.
