Increase NAS Storage space with disk replacement - TerraMaster U4-423 4-Bay NAS
About a year ago I bought the Terramaster U4-423 rack-mount NAS.
It's a great NAS and originally I only bought it as a Plex server.
But since I've become more and more active on YouTube and have more and more data, I also use the NAS as data storage.
The biggest advantage for me is that you can set up a raid dynamically. You don't have to have all the hard disks in the same size...
I started with 2 4TB disks that I still had from a construction site. Then I added an 8TB disk and in the meantime I had 3x 16TB and the old 8TB.
In this video today I show how I replace the 8TB disk with a 16TB to have 8TB of additional storage.
The first time I did it (replaced a 4TB with the 8TB) I had some problems, but now I know how to do it.
