They built these small houses to see which one lasts the longest, and that's how this competition works. When these participants are finished, they can place it anywhere in the sand, but the thing is, the closer you get to the water, the deeper you can dig. But that's irrelevant because the houses have to withstand greater pressure the closer they are to the waves, which is why in the end, only these two houses remain.
