So in this weeks episode i am back in Garys yard to take on the back! This is one of the most beautiful gardens i have seen in a long time and i can only imagine what it would have been like in it's prime!
First of all we had to tackle the murraya hedge beyond the cute yellow gate which was becoming hugely overgrown and woody! There was even a wasps nest in the hedge and they attacked me while i was cutting without realising they were there! Unfortunately i lost about 30 minutes of footage due to the sound not working but i was screaming quite loud lol
Then onto the yard! Full of flowers, herbs and a variety of trees it was a treat to work here, but the worst is yet to come! Due to the sheer size we could not get all the way to the end of the yard but we will return for that next week! This will be a big project and this weeks episode was just the easy part!
We took care of the garden beds which were full of dead weeds and plants as well as the grass which was taking over all the borders and growing wild! There were a few dead limbs to take off a nice willow tree and even a baby tree that had to be removed completely as it was growing from a dropped seed in an unwanted area!
Then we cleaned up the path leading into the end of the backyard which had trees growing wild out of the garden beds making the whole path rather difficult to navigate!
Next week i may organise a skip bin or something to continue the work as it is truly gigantic! And is a literal forest 😅
