BenQ SW2700PT vs PV270 | 2 - 27” Hardware Calibrated Display Compare!
This video will compare the best selling BenQ SW2700PT - 27” 2K Hardware Calibrated Display against the PV270 - 27” 2K Pro Video Display by BenQ. A quick note for US and North America viewers. PV270 is discontinued in the US, you may be able to get it used or refurbished by BenQ. Depending on where you are geographically in the world you may still be able to get the PV270 either new or refurbished and this video will compare these 2 models for you. At a glance they are both 27” 2K Hardware Calibrate Display so what are some of the differences?
1. Uniformity would be one of them with less backlight bleeding on the PV270
2. The both uses difference software by BenQ to calibrate, the SW uses Palette Master Element, while the PV uses BenQ Palette Master a software based on X-Rite i1Profiler.
3. There are some ergonomic and a few hardware differences as well. Watch this video to find out more.
TLDR: SW Designed Primary for Photography and with the later SW models, such as the SW270C or the SW321C this line now target both Photography and Video Work.
PV (Pro Video) is really designed with pro video work in mind along with a stricter delta e tolerance. As of now, most PV displays are discontinued.
