Nano Crop Farm - Max Speed (Minecraft Java)
You asked for faster, so here you go. This max speed nano-crop farm will produce Wheat or Beetroots at a rate of 18,000 per hour with 36,000 of that crops seeds, or 54,000 Carrots or Potatoes (with ~540 poisonous potatoes). That is 300 Wheat/Beets per minute or 900 Carrots/Potatoes per minute. This machine takes advantage of lighting mechanics in that an extending piston will let light through while a close one does not, so you can plant a crop through an open piston, and the game will harvest that crop for you when it closes as it will be to dark to have any crops in the target square.
