WHY DO I NEED EXTRA EQUIPMENT?
Voloco is designed to run on your phone and for you to hear while you're playing back your track, so the equipment is to get the sound out through external speakers instead of just out of your phone's speakers.
WHY DO YOU RECOMMEND iOS DEVICES?
Android devices are great, but for live performance we recommend using Voloco on an iOS device, so an iPhone or iPad. This not because iOS devices are better than Android. This is because Android devices have a really wide range of how they process audio and there's often audio delay because of how the actual device hardware works, and iOS devices all process audio the same way and have minimal audio delay bc of how Apple builds/designs them.
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?

🎛 If you're bringing ALL your own audio equipment, you're going to need a mixing board and a PA system or studio monitors too. Depending on where you're performing, the venue might have those but you should definitely always ask.
🔌 Bring an extra extension cord and make sure you have every cable you need, too.
