How to respond to a connection request on LinkedIn

But why not have a respond button? 🔵
For the longest time LinkedIn would not allow you to respond to a connection request with a message unless...
They sent a personalized message first or you used InMail credit...
To me that didn't make any sense...
If someone is engaging you first, you should never have to use an InMail to have a conversation...
What if instead of accept/decline, I could also send a message that said, "Hey, I appreciate you wanting to connect! May I ask why?"
Well guess what...?
LinkedIn listened again & did exactly what I suggested!
LinkedIn asks for feedback to improve, genuinely cares, listens and in many cases will adapt to better the platform.
