More than 20 years ago, St. Vincent de Paul was there for Christina Boston when she was a single mom on a teacher's salary in the middle of summer without a paycheck. She was unsure if she would be able to pay her electricity bill or put food on the table. The one-time assistance SVdP provided Christina with her electricity bill allowed her to keep her family in their home and continue forward with her education career.
