A name that results from mixing Wolf with Vampire, at first glance could be seen as the identity of a Goth Band. But the origin of the name of this Rock group from São Paulo lies within hybrid characters of recurring themes in recent movies of success. According to the urban dictionary, the expression 'wolfpire' is used in some places as slang for beautiful women – "that girl is beautiful, out of this world, she can only be a Wolfpire!"
When guitarist Luiz Casadio invited the singer Doug Muratore to the project, they had decided that every member should be passionate about music, especially classic Hard Rock, as it was seen from the 80’s. Like so, they invited the bassist Danny Heinzl, Mau Villas as drummer, Furuken as base guitar and keyboard player, Markus Mioranzza. With the whole team assembled, the group finished in 2017 the recording of their debut album, "Naughty and Hungry", released in november 24 by ONErpm and, independently, through physical CD copies.
"It’s Hard Rock, inspired on the best we had on this genre from the 80’s", Casadio analyzes. "The tracks are unique. Each song has different characteristics from another and I think that this variety will take the listener through different moods and settings", adds the guitarist, who recorded and mixed the project on his own studio, Casadio Studio (SP). Mastering on the other hand was done by Pablo Coitino, from Binaulab.
Although it features a character, it’s not a conceptual work, only a few songs are about this theme.
