Threnody for the Victims in Ukraine
In memory of those killed in the fight, and the battle for the independence of Ukraine in 2014-15
Our international project brought together creative people from around the world - all of them during this fateful moment in the destiny of Ukraine feel deep pain for our wounded country. Along with all the Ukrainian people we pray for the souls of those who died and for the recovery of the wounded.
Prayer and sorrow, pain and catharsis - is music entitled "For the victims of the Western Ukraine", created by composer Vladimir Genin to the VIII Century lyrics by John of Damascus . It is performed by the Nodelman quartet accompanying illustrations by Sergei Loiko provided specifically for this project.
