Elden Ring - Roderika's Questline (FULL NPC QUEST WALKTHROUGH w/ COMMENTARY)
Roderika is an NPC in Elden Ring that allows you to upgrade your normal and legendary spirit ashes using gravewort found in catacombs. Her quest starts at the stormhill shack, she is sitting sideways in a cabin next to the grace, go to her here and exhaust her dialogue.
Next make sure that you have rested at the bonfire and acquire torrent from melania, after that warp back to the church of Elleh and speak with Ranni to get the Spirit summoning bell. Upon getting this bell, you can speak with Roderika again and she will give you the spirit summon jelly fish.
After this when you progress stormveil castle either from skipping or exploring she will eventually warp to the round table hold, but for now she asks you to retrieve her chrysalids memento found in the pile of corpses in the storm veil castle dungeon. Grab them and bring them back to her.
After this she will be at the stormviel castle and she will drop a gold seed in her place at the stormveil shack. here you will need to speak with her, then the black smith, then her, then the blacksmith again and then rest at the grace and this will open her up as a merchant for your spiritt ashes needs of uprading.
At this point you can return to where you found the Chrysalids Memento in the stormveil castle and you will find her deserted crimson hood on the pile of corpses. This hood gives you special abilities gaining 1 passive point to vigor.
She has additional dialogue when going through the Dung Eater quest, when the doors are open revealing his red phantom form in the roundtable hold, you will prompt to say did you know and she will know straight away. After that when you free the Dung Eater from his Gaol in the Lyndell Sewers you will have the option to warn certain NPC's about what you have just done, and she picks up on it again straight away.
The spirirt summon she gives you can be used to reunite it with its jellyfish sister in the mountain of giants inside of the stargazers ruins. You can summon the jellyfish here and they will both reunite in glee and dissapear. You can find their final resting places just under the cliffside around the corner of the ruins.
At this point you can use Roderika for all your spirit ashes tuning upgrade needs.
