I'm going for realism today! This apartment is super similar to the apartments myself and most of my friends lived in when we were first starting out... the layout, the carpet, the beige tile, the decorations, everything. Money is hard to come by when you're first out on your own, so a mediocre apartment full of hand me down/cheap furniture and a roommate is how it has to go sometimes.
