How to Uninstall Programs/Apps in Windows 10
In today’s video, I’m going to show you how to uninstall a program in Windows 10.
Uninstalling programs in Windows allows you to free up storage space and increase system performance.
To get started with uninstalling a program:
1. Go into the Windows start bar, and type in “Programs”, and click on the “Add or remove programs” search result.
2. The apps and features dialog window will now open.
3. To uninstall a program, you can simply scroll down the list until you find the program that you would like to uninstall, or you can type its name into the search field.
4. In today’s example, I’m going to be uninstalling the Disney+ application on my computer.
5. Once you’ve found the application you would like to uninstall, click on it, and then click on the “Uninstall” button.
6. Please note, if you’re trying to uninstall a program and the uninstall button is grayed out, that means that the application is built into Windows, and it has to be removed by using a PowerShell command.
7. A dialog window will now display, confirming that you’d like to uninstall the program. I’m going to click on the “Uninstall” button to proceed.
8. Some programs have an uninstaller that will run. You’ll want to follow through the uninstall steps to complete the uninstall process.
9. Once the uninstaller has completed, the program will then be removed from your computer.
10. As you can see the Disney+ app has just been removed.
And it’s as easy as that, uninstalling a program from your computer is a simple task to perform.
