Reviewing Your Data Science Projects - Episode 10 (Leveraging Your Data)
In this video, I review one of Isac's data science projects and his resume. He has an incredibly unique project where he analyzes his own Spotify data to try to predict which songs he would like. This is a great example of a unique project that employers would be looking for.
Project
Include details into the dataset. Employers want to know how you collected the data and some insights about the features if they are not clear
Explain decision points in your analysis. Isac does this well when he explains why he uses 15 listens as a threshold for a liked song
Explain your evaluation criteria. Isac weights training time very heavily in this analysis, he should explain why this is important if it is relevant
Resume
Put skills at the top
Start with outcomes and follow up with methods and tools used
