Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 8 MacOS Performance Issues and Renice Command Change Fix - M4 Macbook Pro
Well It seems that BG3 is still running just as poorly on MacOS as it was in patch 7.
Here I'm playing on an M4 Macbook pro 14c CPU 20c GPU 24gb Unified memory.

Commands in the video are:
Metal HUD:
/bin/launchctl setenv MTL_HUD_ENABLED 1
Renice Command:
sudo renice -20 -p bg3pid
(remember to change "bg3pid" to the number shown in activity monitor)
