The Entry Series: The Film
The Entry Series (Album) is a collection of singles composed and recorded by Saskatoon-based Canadian artist, William Ahiahonu (will.aO). It is a musical account of a period of time in which a mixture of ideas arose from a variety of encounters and lessons.
The collection depicts an adventure and a newfound creativity that Ahiahonu has discovered about the depth of his musicality. It also depicts Ahiahonu's growth in his ability to create balanced and good-quality recordings that aim to hold the iconic old-school sound. With no more than a phone recorder, a camcorder, and basic mixing software, Ahiahonu sets out to develop his virtuosity by learning from the greats of jazz fusion, funk, and soul from the past ... but what he truly hopes for, above all of this, is to continue to use his music as a relaxing way to reflect on life in the midst of its hustle and bustle.
