Day 1 of treating parasite so I could fight off tick borne illnesses!
💚Day 1 of the hardcore medication that will hopefully kill one of the parasites I have so I could get strong enough to fight off the many tick borne illnesses I have.
I’ve been doing lighter treatment throughout pride month so I could get through the 6 engagements I had, and get to feel a little more human for our month of celebration and protesting. I’m soooooo tired. 😴
I should be starting IV antibiotics in about a week as well. Things are about to get intense (look up Herx reaction on Google) but I know I’m strong enough to handle it. 💪 I’m so so ready to get better. I’ve been fighting since October and these meds are giving me hope. I can’t wait to tour again and be playing music full time. Soon, soon…

Why did it take so long to start these meds?? I’ve been waiting for these meds to come from Canada for over a month. In the US treatment is $357 a day. Insurance would not cover the meds. In Canada the meds are just over $1 a day w/o insurance. Our system is broken. So grateful I could get the meds I need through Canada. 🙏
