Recently, more and more smartphones are able to take portrait photos with bokeh effects, such as those shot with a single-lens reflex camera, using multiple cameras.
Such portrait photos may have a depth map in the image file.
SPM can extract depth maps from portrait photos of LG and Pixel4 in addition to Apple / Samsung / Motorola / Huawei / Nokia, which was previously supported.
However, each manufacturer does not disclose how the depth map is stored, so it responds based on its own analysis. Of course, not all models have been confirmed, so there is a good possibility that the depth map cannot be read even with the above-mentioned compatible smartphones.
