Adobe Illustrator Howto: Gradient over multiple objects
How to combine objects and put a single gradient over multiple objects.
1.) Select the objects to be combined.
2.) Object / Compound Path / Create
3.) (Optional) Color the objects for visibility
4.) Select both the object and the gradient object
5.) Right click and apply the clipping mask
