Kia Rio X is a typical sub-crossover. It has been sold here for several years now and quite successfully. At first, the car was called Kia Rio X-Line, but after the restyling, the name was cut off. This is how Rio X turned out. The Koreans quickly realized that ordinary hatchbacks are not in demand here. People need a car with high ground clearance. The Koreans took the Chinese hatchback K2 Cross and modified it for our market. So in 2017, the Kia Rio X-Line appeared. The ground clearance was increased very simply - they put on bigger wheels. And in January 2019, they finally shook up the suspension. And then they did a restyling: they changed the headlights, screwed on a new bumper, added some small things and renamed the car Rio X.
