Perisno 1.5.5 - Battle with the Dreaded Nightmare + Exploring the Grazir Shrine
As we start sieging the bordering castles in Maccavia territory, The Grazir Menace™ which regenerated their numbers to 1400+ reappears near Murdenholl. We try to fight it with our companions and the Freelancers Horde in vain, and barely put a dent in their numbers.
Then we decide to continue our attacks to Maccavia while trying to evade the Grazirs. Not long after, more cretasan lords start showing up, summoned by our new current marshal in a new ongoing campaign.
As we are preparing to siege, we hear some clashing north of us: some friendly patrol got in a fight with the Grazirs.
We stand by to assess the situation. As we see everybody gathered and more and more lords jumping in the fight, this looks like the golden opportunity we have been looking for! We order our Freelancers and Joan Zwiebel to go all in.
We finally beat the Grazirs Menace™ and the Dreaded One invites us to drink tea in his Grazir Shrine.
Curious about this confrontation, we park Freelancers and Joan Zwiebel and head to the Shrine, where after some careful exploration we end up with our head caved in by an Otherworlder.
After a few more failed attemps and finding out what awaits further in the dungeon, we decide to leave the shrine be for the time being, and maybe come back to it at a later time.
