Metamaterials at Duke
A new technology called metamaterials gives engineers the ability to make waves of all kinds behave in unnatural ways. Researchers at Duke, where metamaterials were first fabricated, are applying this new thinking to all sorts of waves, from the electromagnetic waves that underlie all of our communications, to sound waves and more.
