The snaggle-toothed snake-eel is a terror that haunts the depths of the ocean. Growing up to three feet long and lurking in the warm waters of the tropics, it's a nightmare come to life. This monster can be found in depths as shallow as 16 feet, making its presence known even closer to shore. A specimen was captured near Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in 2018, and its eyes are bulging out of its head, adding an extra layer of horror to its already terrifying appearance. The thought of encountering one of these snaggle-toothed horrors in the deep is enough to send shivers down the spine of even the bravest of souls.
