Tip number 1 - Make the first 15 seconds count!
The first few moments of the video is when the viewer will be deciding if they want to stick around and keep watching. So making the first 15 seconds interesting and engaging is super important.
A simple way to do this is to introduce the story! You can maybe in show them something exciting as a preview of what's to come.
Tip number 2 - lighting
You don't need an expensive camera to film amazing vlogs. Even just using your phone camera will be good enough - however... the lighting in your videos makes a HUGE difference. Bad lighting with an expensive camera will ruin the vlog. Good lighting with a cheap camera will still look great.

Getting good at anything requires consistency, vlogging and making videos is just the same. Your 1st video will be bad, your 100th video will be A LOT better - that's pretty obvious.
