Project Title: Database and Presentation Project
Scenario:
You have been tasked with creating a database in Access 2019 for a healthcare-related facility. Depending on your preference, you can choose to focus on one of the following types of establishments:
• University Library Management System
• Clinic Management System
• Pharmacy Management System
• HR Management System
• Kindergarten Management System
• Health Insurance System
• Trining Course Registration System
• Student Assessment Management System
The database should include tables relevant to the chosen firm setting. You are also required to establish relationships between the tables, create queries to extract key data, design forms for efficient data entry, and generate reports for analysis. After the database is complete, you will design a PowerPoint 2019 presentation to demonstrate the features and functionality of the database. The presentation will highlight your understanding of themes, images, color schemes, text formatting, animations, and transitions.
Project Requirements:
Part 1: Access 2019 Database (15 Marks):
A. Tables, Relationships, and Forms
1. Design and create tables for the following categories, choosing the most relevant ones based on the selected firm setting. (4 Marks)
2. Establish appropriate relationships between the tables to ensure data integrity and consistency. (1 Mark)
3. Design user-friendly forms for data entry, allowing staff to input and update information, appointments, etc... (5 Marks)
B. Queries and Reports (5 Marks)
4. Develop queries to retrieve specific information based on your chosen firm.
5. Generate comprehensive reports summarizing activities related to your firm setting.



Part 2: PowerPoint 2019 Presentation (15 Marks):
A. General Design
1. Choose a suitable theme for the presentation that aligns with the concept of the facility (1 Marks)
2. Incorporate relevant images, such as logos, icons, equipment or professionals (depending on your chosen setting). (1 Marks)
3. Select a cohesive color scheme that complements the theme and maintains readability (1 Marks)
4. Use effective text formatting, including headings, bullet points, and consistent font styles to convey information clearly. (1 Marks)
5. Organize content logically, with a clear introduction, main body, and conclusion, to ensure coherence and flow. (1 Marks)
B. Animations and Transitions
6. Apply animations and transitions judiciously to engage the audience and emphasize key points (e.g., fade-ins for tables, subtle slide transitions). (5 Marks)
C. Project Presentation (5 Marks)
7. After submitting the project, students are required to present their work in a 10-minute session.
8. The faculty member will determine which team members will present the project.
9. All group members are expected to be prepared to answer any questions related to the project from the faculty member or classmates.
