Simplify Geometry for Simulation
Clean up complex geometry by using nodes like the matchsize node to align models properly, and reduce unnecessary details to create simulation-friendly versions. This ensures better performance and more stable results during the simulation.

Control Movement with Constraints and Attributes
Use the vellum constraints node to pin geometry partially or fully to an animation source. Combining soft pinning with attribute-driven falloff (e.g., mops falloff) allows for nuanced control, such as enabling rigid behavior at the front of a model and flexible movement at the tail.

Leverage Expressions for Dynamic Animations
Apply expressions like sin($FF) to create procedural motion, such as swimming or oscillating effects. Customize the frequency and amplitude by adjusting multipliers, and use this alongside simulations for layered, dynamic results.
