Before hiking up the Golden Ears Summit trail we stayed the night in the Golden Ears Front country campsite to be close to the trailhead in the morning. We Stayed at Alouette Campground but any of them would work as they’re all super close. Golden Ears Summit is a very challenging 22.5KM+ out and back hike. Please do your research for current conditions and only attempt this is you’re an experienced hiker. A ladder, ropes & chains and rock climbing involved.
