How do you create a research report, can you do a tutorial on how to go about it
Where does accessibility testing fit in? Should that be part of the UT as well?
Hello friends, thanks for the opportunity to ask a question. What is the difference between product strategy and UX strategy?
Hi! Can you talk about best practices for non-leading test questions for usability testing and tree testing?
Debbie - I saw your comment about no boot camps or classes in UX were worthwhile. That being said, what IS worthwhile?
Hi,Zhengyi here.I'm designing a quiz function for a japanese learning by read app,Now there's a different opinion on whether to make the quiz/test in Japanese or English(users' mother language). What's the best approach to research which is better for users?
May you explain please why did you consider that a question like "what did you except to find by clicking on this button ?" Is it because you consider that you "zoom" on this feature by asking the question ?
How would you structure an initial workshop with target users (about 8-9)? I’m thinking card sorting and trying to get out tasks that would be crucial to the designs.
For a complicated function, for example node editor, which required line connection.Or any function that can't be presented by prototype software. When you make redesign on it.How do you test it?Is this only testable after development? How do you approach this problem?
When you are initiating a new marketing client as a consultant/firm, how do you quickly level set or navigate discussions around CX vs site UX vs brand activity?
What do you rely on when the time constraints don't allow you a window to properly do your homework and, as such, you must get straight into design?
What are you advices and best practices for conducting surveys?
For recruiting participants where travel is required to meet them, our team books the travel first & scrambles to recruit shortly before travel. Any best practices on recruiting in this situation?
reword this: I am a user researcher and have been working in ux for about 10 years so I have a good idea of what good ux is and what isn't. Right now I'm struggling with a difficult stakeholder who is a designer. They have done research in the past and always push back on research plans or suggestions that I or anyone on the ux research team presented to them. After seeing their previous research, it was incredibly evident that the research they conducted was put together to validate their own designs. How would you handle something like this? It's especially difficult because they're a very influential person in the org with a type A personality.
Let's say you're a mid-level UX person entering a startup or a situation where a new product is being created. There are no available users (the product is non-existent) to interview or help test prototypes. Users of similar, existing products are (for whatever reason–specialization, rarity, classified roles) difficult to find. How would you go about validate experiences without them or how would you acquire qualified specialized users? (Think brain surgeons, air force pilots, drug users, etc.)
What expectations can a designer (who is relatively experienced) have of their manager? What kind of support can we expect vs what should we be expected to handle autonomously?
