ÇOMÜ ALGAN Technology Team Conducts Test Flight of 'A1915 Drone'
Students from Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University have developed an early warning drone using artificial intelligence. The completion of the final tests aims for the drone to be put into use in August. These drones will remain in the air constantly, utilizing image processing technology to detect smoke and even the smallest sparks, and sending alerts to the forest teams. The project was carried out by the ALGAN technology team at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, and the prototype A1915 drone will be delivered to the Regional Forestry Directorate in August.
