Application of the Cross Product: Torque

In this video I go over one of the main applications of the cross product in physics, and that is in calculating torque. Torque is defined as the perpendicular force applied to turn an object from a distance away. This can be broken down into 2 vectors: a position vector and a force vector; and written as a cross product. I illustrate this concept by going over an example on applying a force to a wrench to turn a bolt.
